Your RMGJ DJs

Lark Mervine DJ
Lark Mervine
Coming from an extraordinarily musical family, having both parents as full time musicians, Lark grew up listening to and performing music.  She began playing the saxophone at age eleven and quickly developed a love and appreciation for jazz music.  Later, Lark found her true passion in swing dancing and was able to combine her knowledge of music and love for dancing to become a well rounded DJ.  For the past seven years she has been a regular DJ at several local and national dance events.
DJ Booty Rocky Mountain Girl Jam
Brittney “DJ Bo0ty”
Brittney C. aka “DJ Bo0ty”, is thrilled to be DJ-ing for her 3rd Rocky Mountain Girl Jam. Brittney has been DJing for 8 years. She has DJ’d at events like the Vegas Exchange, the Swing Cruise, Lindy on the Rocks, and is the Head DJ for Colorado’s Intercollegiate Swing Battle. She is a regular DJ in the Denver Swing scene with a monthly set at the Mercury Cafe Thursday Swing nights. Although she loves the details and intricacies of DJ-ing Jazz and swing dance music, her heart is DJing Soul and Rhythm and Blues. Brittney loves having a good time and playing a good dance song at parties, weddings, and most excitedly the Rocky Mountain Girl Jam late night Soul Party.
Alicia Price RMGJ DJ
Alicia Price
Alicia loves moving to music. A competitive figure skater for 14 years, she had fun choreographing and composing routines for herself, a variety of students and several skating shows. Years later, after retiring from skating and coaching, she decided to drag her husband out to a local swing dance and was hooked from the get-go.  She’s been immersed in learning about vintage swing dance since, including the music that makes these dances so wonderful. She organizes local events and classes, runs a weekly practice session with her husband, David, DJs often, and you can catch her on the dance floor being silly and making funny faces at her partners.
